Commercial Air Transport services
History:
After World War II, commercial aviation grew rapidly, using mostly ex-military aircraft to transport people and cargo from one country to the other. This growth was accelerated by oversupplying of heavy and super-heavy bomber airframes like the B-29 and Lancaster that could be converted into commercial aircraft. The first commercial jet airliner to fly was the British de Havilland Comet.
Introduction:
Commercial air transport service also known as Commercial aviation is the part of civil aviation that deals with both general aviation and scheduled airline services that involves operating aircraft for hire to transport passengers or cargo. There are two categories of aircraft airplanes and other aircraft such as helicopters, balloons and airships./n/n
General Aspects:
In most countries, a flight may be operated for money only if it meets three criteria:
The pilot must hold a valid commercial pilot's certificate
The aircraft must hold a valid commercial registration
The operator must hold a certificate or some other authorization for commercial operations A commercial certificate or registration requires higher standards than a private one.
For example, a commercial pilot may have to demonstrate more maneuvers to a higher standard, and may need to pass more frequent medical examinations. A commercially registered plane may require more frequent or more extensive maintenance.
Types of Commercial airtransport Flights
1. Domestic flights
Domestic flight is a commercial flight that carries passenger and cargo within a country. it does not fly outside the country. The departure and arrival takes place in the same country. All airports serving domestic flights are known as domestic airports.
2. International flights
An international flight is a commercial flight within civil aviation which flies outside its own country. The departure and the arrival take place in different countries. An important difference between international and domestic flights is that, before boarding the aircraft, passengers must undergo migration formalities and, when arriving to the destination airport, they must undergo both immigration and customs formalities, unless both the departure and arrival countries are members of the same free travel area. All airports serving international flights are known as international airports.

Well, I just want to add something as a part of my comment.Commercial air transport grew fastlyand became a part of our lives. Before air transportation, it was hard to carry passengers and cargo both domestic and international.Let's think about that, if we want to arrive China from USA, the only transportation type we can use is sea travel. And it lasts mounths to get the destination via sea. With the air travel, it is no longer hard to transport. It made the transportation quick and safe.I believe that it will be mora significent for us with the advantages it provided.
